Rice Krispie Cone Christmas Trees Recipe

I love Christmas and baking so of course, at this time of year I can’t stop making tempting festive treats. My favourite ones to make are super creative, easy to make and require very little ingredients.

I’m sure you can imagine my excitement when I stumbled across a no-bake Rice Krispie cone Christmas tree recipe that’s simple to make and only requires six ingredients (plus some parchment paper!)

Here’s how I made these adorable Christmas trees:

  • 200g white chocolate
  • 200g Rice Krispies
  • Green food colouring (not water-based)
  • Icing sugar
  • White icing in a tube (for decorating)
  • Sprinkles

*You will also need some parchment paper.

Step One

Cut your parchment paper into six semi circles. Roll each one up into a cone shape and secure with sellotape.

Step Two

Melt the white chocolate and add a bit of green food colouring. I didn’t put too much in mine because I wanted quite a pale green.

Step Three

Add the Rice Krispies and mix together.

Step Four

Using a spoon put the Rice Krispies into the cones. Press down with the spoon to ensure they are as compact as possible.

Step Five

Place the cones upright into a glass and pop them in the fridge for an hour.

Step Six

Take your cones out of the fridge and remove the parchment paper.

Step Seven

Decorate your trees with the sprinkles. I got ones with stars in them and stuck them on using icing from a tube.

Step Eight

Dust with icing for a snowy effect!

I found this amazing recipe here. They used vegan white chocolate for theirs.

What Christmas recipes are you making? I would love to know in the comments.
