I’m running 100km for charity this summer so I needed to invest in some amazing running shoes to help me take the feat on! All the trainers I own are Nike, they just scream quality to me which is no surprise when they are worn by the best athletes in the world such as Serena Williams, Roger Federer and Cristiano Ronaldo.
It’s so important to choose the right running trainers so I definitely ummmed and ahhhed whenever I walked in a store to find Nike trainers in every colour and style you could think of. The number one priority for me was to find trainers that felt comfortable. I wanted them to feel springy like I was running with 2 mini mattresses on my feet! This meant I tried on a lot of trainers and after much consideration I went for the Nike Free Run trainers.
Nike Free Run trainers are incredibly comfortable , light and cushioned. The background behind them is that Nike heard that Stanford Athletes trained barefoot and they wanted to create a trainer that felt the same. The trainers certainly do feel weightless as they weigh less than 200 grams. They are also very flexible and more importantly breathable which is essential with all the running I will be doing!
I was also drawn to Nike Free Run Trainers because I loved the design…simple, modern and stylish. They are available in so many colours but I went for the classic black and white because it goes with everything!
